Problems of the day. I keep losing shit around the house. Corporate emails need better filters. I need more unobtrusive ways to keep in touch. I need maids.

Problem - What to do with one's furniture when moving out? (from Vicki)

Researched immigration issues and potential solutions. B1/2 not a permanent option, though it may be temporarily. Best bet seems to be applying for an E-2 Visa now through Vancouver, though I'll need to jump through the hoops. Biggest challenges are to resolve the ~$100k irrevocable committed and a clear and understandable business plan.

Names considered for the business include Euwyn or Remedy. Like Remedy but don't think it's widely available.

Off the top of my head, the business will develop revenue generating web applications to tackle real problems. Business will focus on being low-capital, quick and agile. To sustain revenue while proprietary ideas are being built, a side development business will be built? At least on paper this will be a good plan. Have prospective hires lined up and initial clients. But wouldn't this side business be a pain in the ass?

Initial projects will include [Food] and [Law Student].

Thoughts

Idea laboratory is an intriguing. Need to research more on the success of ideaLab and Walker Digital. Focus should be on low capital easy execution high growth real revenue ideas. Cheap working and good.

Agree with the Palantir principle that humans and computers are efficient and effective at two different things. Key is to allow humans to harness the power of computing. The marketing space seems to be intriguing. Maybe the right idea is not to have an automated recommendation agent but to leverage the experience and wisdom of a few human operators to change the way advertising works. Read the numerati. So much data online about people. What sort of information would I find online about myself? What sort of products would I market to myself? Try this problem out on Steve.
